Today we’re kicking of our Vintage theme week here on the website, which means everything you see this week has something to do with Vintage. Whether it’s how we dress, or how to get rich from selling your old stuff online. We will cover every bit of it. I love the idea of a theme week as we can show different aspects of ourselves to you. Please let me know which subject you want to know more about and I see if we can make a week around it as well. Mail me firstname.lastname@example.org.
Anyway, I love vintage shops and I do have an eye for great old stuff. I’m a firm believer of ‘someone’s garbage is another man’s treasure’. Over the years I bought some really cool unique items and I do think pieces with character can make a look.
The following 12 looks contains vintage, I just want to give you an idea how old can work good with new. Judge yourself and let me know which look you like most.
I‘m a real sucker for men shirts and I find them second hand the best.
I bought this belt on Brick Lane in East London for 2 Pounds.
Same goes for this belt, vintage accessories are just simply the best.
Though there is nothing vintage in this look, I sold this Saint Laurent bag on Vestiaire Collective for more than I have paid for it. Later this week I will tell you how to be successful in online sales of vintage items.
This silk blazer is 100% vintage. I found it in a small shop in Groningen and the story is just great. It belongs to an old femme fatale from France so the story goes.
I bought this grey pair of trousers from another blogger via Tictail, the online platform for second hand blogger shops. Did you know I have a tictail shop too? It’s anoukyve.tictail.com though I have to put some new stuff on it soon.
Did you know Urban Outfitters sells the best second hand Levi’s?
