Designer crush: Isa Arfen

I’m recently totally into young designer labels. Maybe it has something to do with the over exposion of fashion titans such as Chloe or Gucci on Instagram, I don’t know. But with so many furry loafers on my daily feed I crave for new exiting designs and fresh brands. That’s why I lost my heart to London designer label Isa Arfen (stocked at NAP, Avenue32, Forward ect.).

Her collection is something of what we don’t see that often anymore: originality. Founder and designer – Central Saint Martins Alumni – Serafina Sama seeks inspiration in the work of retro glamour society photographer Slim Aarons’, also one of my personal favorites. I also like the brand because it’s not minimalistic but it isn’t too outrageous either. Think Italian glamour of the 60’s with new silhouettes added to the collection. You almost want to book a ticket to Capri!

I’m totally in love with the ruffled check skirt, which happens to be on sale at Avenue32.com.
